  • I don't know how much flooring I need?

    We can assist in determining the approximate requirement. If you not to sure on how to measure your room please see our Measuring Your Room page.

    We would always recommend allowing for around 5-10% extra on any orders to allow for wastage. We recommend that before beginning any installation you seek the advice of a professional fitter/flooring installer for any questions you have with your unique installation or flooring preference.

    All of our flooring product pages have a calculator which will aid you in determining the exact number of packs which you will need for your installation, however if you are still unsure please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Do you offer credit facilities?

    Here at Discount Flooring Depot we can offer you a credit facility in association with Deko. Credit is subject to status and is available to permanent UK residents only. Once you apply for this, Deko the independent financial provider will assess your status and provide you with an answer as to whether or not you qualify for the finance ore not. Deko should send you an email confirming whether your application has been successful within thirty minutes. If successful then your order will be dispatched on the appropriate date. Credit will only be considered on orders over £300.00. A deposit of 10% of your order value will need to be paid before the order is dispatched. If you are not eligible for the Deko credit service all goods will have to be paid for before dispatch by Debit/Credit Card, PayPal or BACS payment. 

  • What if I wish to cancel my Order?

    Please note, due to the speed at which our dispatch team work, we can make no guarantees to change orders prior to shipping. If you order as already been dispatch you will be reliable for any returns costs.

The physical hardware on which the information is stored is secured in a state of the art data centre and is guarded 24/7 by closed circuit television and security personnel to ensure no unauthorised access to any personal information or sensitive system data.

    We utilise SagePay as our online payment processor to process our online debit and credit card transactions and no card information is ever stored on our systems.

  • Do you deliver flooring in my Area?

    We can deliver throughout England and Wales Monday - Friday on a day that suits you! Unfortunately due logistical reasons with our courier, we are unable to deliver to Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland at this time.

  • How long after I place my order can I expect delivery?

    Please note, due to the COVID-19 situation there may be some disruption to the following information. 


    We have a lead time of 3 working days and all deliveries are subject to stock availability. Please be aware that all deliveries are made by courier to kerbside only.

    We will deliver the goods to the nearest access point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle but for insurance reasons we are unfortunately unable to bring the goods into your home.

    We would strongly recommend that you have someone ready to assist in bringing the flooring from the delivery point into your home as the courier driver will be unable to assist with this.

    The driver may require help unloading the products. As deliveries will be made by a large lorry it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, for example the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order so that alternative arrangements may be made.

    The majority of deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are made at the couriers discretion. All delivery schedules provided on the site are estimates only and we cannot guarantee a specific day or time for delivery to take place.

  • Do your Shipping Costs vary by product or area?

    Good News! Our delivery charges are the same if you live in central London or the valleys in Wales. Same charges apply if you order 10m2 or 100m2.

    14 day hassle free returns

    We offer a 14-day returns policy, simply fill out this form to start the returns process. A refund will be issued 3 - 5 bank working days after goods have been received and checked in our warehouse. For further information please see our returns policy here

  • What is your returns & cancellation policy?

    If you cancel your order before they have been dispatched, we will refund you the full invoice amount within 2 working days. Please bear in mind this can take 3-5days for your bank to process.

    In the case that you do wish to return your order, you have up to 14 days to cancel on receipt of delivery, in order to receive a full refund less delivery charges. The product should be returned no later than 14 days after you have cancelled.

    To cancel your order you must complete this form.

    It is your responsibility to arrange the items to be returned to our warehousing facility. If would wish for us to arrange a collection via our courier UPN there would be an additional charge of £75.

    Refunds will be issued within 10 working days of the return.

    Before Returning:

    Please ensure all products being returned are well protected before sending, as any costs for damaged goods will be taken from the refund total.

    Products must be returned in original unopened packaging.

    Ensure goods are returned on a pallet. This will minimise damages.

    Manufacturing fault:

    The quickest way for us to resolve a manufacturing fault complaint is for you to follow the below steps.

    This information will be sent to the manufacturer to review.

    Genuine manufacturing faults will be replaced and delivery and return costs will be refunded.

    If you return a product due to installation problems and we are able to install it back at our warehouse facility, we will have no choice but to send you the product back at your expense.  We highly recommend your installer reads and fully understands the installation guide on the product prior to installation.
