    Company History

    Discount Flooring Depot was established in August 2012. We might be new to the on-line market, but we have over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry behind us. Our expertise ensures that only the finest quality luxury wood flooring is sourced in bulk directly from our global network of trusted suppliers.

    Discount Flooring Depot currently has its head office located in Salford, Manchester. We also have with a large warehouse situated in the Northern England. In November 2013 we opened our first showroom in Salford, Manchester also. Following it’s huge success, with many customers coming through the doors to buy from us in person.

    As members of the National Wood Flooring Association, our sales staff are well versed in their detailed literature and on-line seminars, so we can give the best possible technical advice and maintenance guidance to our customers.



    We have also created a detailed knowledge base on our site to help our customers with an easy to access guide on installing, maintaining and even choosing the right floor for them. The knowledge base is sectioned into guides for installing laminate flooring, maintaining engineered wood flooring and looking after any solid wood flooring regardless of the finish, ensuring that in years to come, your lacquered, Oiled or Brushed and Oiled floor looks as good as the day it was installed!

  • Are my details safe with Discount Flooring Depot?

    We take data security very seriously and fully comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. We stringently follow the 8 principles of good data handling as set out by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

    All sections of our website were sensitive data input is required are secured by a high grade 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection provided by Rapid SSL.

    This means that all on-line communication between our customers and the functions of our website are encrypted and all information is hidden from any potential eavesdropping by unauthorised parties.

  • What is your returns & cancellation policy?

    If you cancel your order before they have been dispatched, we will refund you the full invoice amount within 2 working days. Please bear in mind this can take 3-5days for your bank to process.

    In the case that you do wish to return your order, you have up to 14 days.  A refund will be issued less delivery charges. 

    To cancel your order you must complete this form.

    It is your responsibility to arrange the items to be returned to our warehousing facility. If would wish for us to arrange a collection via our courier UPN there would be an additional charge of £75.

    Refunds will be issued within 10 working days of the return.

    Before Returning:

    Please ensure all products being returned are well protected before sending, as any costs for damaged goods will be taken from the refund total.

    Products must be returned in original unopened packaging.

    Ensure goods are returned on a pallet. This will minimise damages.

    Manufacturing fault:

    The quickest way for us to resolve a manufacturing fault complaint is for you to follow the below steps.

    This information will be sent to the manufacturer to review.

    Genuine manufacturing faults will be replaced and delivery and return costs will be refunded.

    If you return a product due to installation problems and we are able to install it back at our warehouse facility, we will have no choice but to send you the product back at your expense.  We highly recommend your installer reads and fully understands the installation guide on the product prior to installation.

  • What if I wish to cancel my Order?

    If your order has been placed, but not dispatched, we will try to make the change or cancellation wherever possible. Please contact our Customer Services team on 0161 641 9996 or use the form below

    Please note, due to the speed at which our dispatch team work, we can make no guarantees to change orders prior to shipping. If you order as already been dispatch you will be reliable for any returns costs.
