Parquet Flooring is unique from all other types of floor covering with regards to the look it provides. The small blocks can be fitted in a couple of different patterns due to all the small boards being uniform in size, and the fact that there are two different types of board, a ‘left’ and a ‘right’. In contrast to this all other types of floor covering can only be fitted one way.
Due to all the boards being small in size it will take the bit longer to fit the floor. As well as this, it is not as easy fitted as any other solid or engineered floor due to the fact that the floor isn’t being fitted in straight lines, instead it is being fitted in a pattern, so extra time and care needs to be taken to make sure a mistake isn’t made. As a result we would recommend that you use a professional floor fitter to install a parquet floor.
