The thickness of the underlay you need will be determined by what floor you are putting down. Vinyl Click flooring will require our special LVT underlay, which is only 1.5mm thick. For laminate and engineered wood flooring, anything from our 2mm Platinum Plus to our 5mm Acoustic Gold will suit. It is also recommended that the underlay is not more than half the thickness of your new floor.
