Hallway Laminate Flooring
Is Laminate Flooring Suitable for Hallways?
Laminate is the clear winner when it comes to fitting hallway flooring. The hall takes a beating - probably the highest footfall of any areas in your home. It is super important to buy the right floor. Heavy duty hallway laminate flooring makes the perfect covering for the main artery of your home. Choose our thickest option and enjoy years of worry free installation.
What Direction Do You Lay Laminate Flooring In A Hallway?
It's a tricky question as it depends on the size of the hall. We recommend installing laminate flooring in the same direction as the longest wall in a hall. Normally this will extend from the front door to farthest door at the back of the hall. This ensures that the planks and joins run parallel with the long walls either side, making the hallway look longer. This lengthening effect is something of an optical illusion, but is way better then installing it horizontally!
