The Woodland Click Oak engineered wood flooring is an excellent flooring option for those who desire the beauty of natural oak without the high cost. This high-quality flooring solution combines the warmth and elegance of oak with the durability and ease of installation of engineered flooring. Here's everything you need to know about this beautiful and functional flooring option.
Engineered wood flooring is a composite product made of layers of real wood that are bonded together to create a strong and stable structure. The top layer is a high-quality hardwood veneer, while the lower layers are made from softer woods or plywood. This construction method makes engineered wood flooring more resistant to moisture and humidity than solid hardwood, and it can also be more affordable.
The Woodland Click Oak engineered flooring is a perfect option for those looking for a durable, attractive, and cost-effective flooring solution. Here are a few reasons why:
One of the main benefits of Woodland Click Oak engineered flooring is its durability. The combination of hardwood veneer and softer woods or plywood creates a flooring product that can withstand heavy traffic and is more resistant to moisture and humidity than solid hardwood.
Another benefit is its cost-effectiveness. Compared to solid hardwood flooring, engineered wood flooring is more affordable, making it an excellent option for those who want the look of hardwood without the high price tag.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO ONLY BOOK A FITTER ONCE YOUR FLOORING HAS ARRIVED AND IS THOROUGHLY CHECKED

The flooring is huge upgrade from our old laminate flooring, it's much warmer underfoot and the boards don't flex as the laminate did. However, there are a few tips I'd give based on my experience fitting it.
The first is pay for a decent set of flooring tools if you don't have them already - I bought a kit from Amazon and the hammer was of no use and the tapping block and pulling bar have both broken already.
The second is don't be afraid if it needs some effort, I bought replacements made by Rough Neck tools which were a lot more costly but well worth the money. With the laminate, you couldn't hit it hard as it easily damaged the board or the one you were trying to tap it up to. I've found you do need to hit them very hard which bent the cheap pulling bar from the kit, I've ended up using a small 1.5kg lump hammer as the board take some effort to move as sliding the wood surfaces over each other isn't easy. However, I've not damaged one yet which shows the quality and strength of manufacture of the flooring.
Lastly, if you have access to a table saw it make a huge difference in the time it take to lay, cutting it face up with a high count blade gives a perfect finish with much better look than using a jigsaw to try to cut straight lines.
