It’s not every day that you particularly observe the floor you’re walking on. Unless you have lost an earring or dropped some change, examining the ground is not something you would think to do on your daily commute. However, not for long. It turns out that you don’t have to actually go to a gallery to see some masterpieces, they can quite literally be beneath your feet, as the world has a great collection of beautiful floors.

In case you didn’t notice, we love flooring and we especially love it when flooring becomes a work of art. That is why we’ve put together a list of what we think are the most beautiful floors world wide, from Paris to Marrakech.

Never again will you look where you’re going.
